This book is a biography aimed toward 4th grader readers, but Susan Anderson is an inspiring and interesting character and the whole family will be interested in her story. Her two previous children novels, Prunes and Rupe and Beba and the Curious Creatures, are very popular with young readers at Dark Horse Books.
