Archive for February, 2009

This week has flown by! THANK YOU to everyone for the nice b-day greetings and gifts (Martha and the others at Pendl’s will REALLY be tired of me over the next couple of weeks) — they are ALL so VERY much appreciated!

We’ve had a good few days here at Dark Horse: some of the books we’ve just added to our inventory (in no particular order) include How to Be an Adult in Relationships, Monsterology, Peeps, Last Days, FootPrint Guide to Belize, and 20 Years at Hull House.  As always, something for everyone!

We haven’t (yet) added nearly everything that I envision on this site — and I was advised to keep it behind a wall until we really had it all together but it’s a little late for that! — so, please be patient and check back for more! And in the meantime, stay warm out there — it’s a frigid morning here in Teton Valley (minus five at our place when I got up at 6:30).

Made me laugh!

Anybody remember the old TV show called “Kids Say the Darnedest Things?”  Art Linkletter would have loved this one……
Lori Kramer writes on her Facebook page: ‘”Dad, you better get dressed. Nobody wants to see you in your underwear.” by my 4 yr. old son this morning.’

This blog provides a great way for us  to say THANK YOU for your support. It means so much! It means we’re still open, that every day I go into the bookstore and have something to look forward to – once again interacting with you, hearing what’s going on with your life, playing with your kids, talking about books.
